One-line install

Open Terminal and run:

curl -fsSL https://emulsion.zezic.ru/install.sh | bash

The script fetches the latest build, detects your CPU, and copies Emulsion.app into /Applications.

Download the archive, then move Emulsion.app into /Applications.

Emulsion currently ships only for Apple Silicon Macs; Intel builds are not provided.

The app updates itself. Once installed it checks for new releases and can download and apply them in place, which also sidesteps the quarantine flag below on every release after the first.

The binaries are not notarised yet, so the first time you launch Emulsion, macOS Gatekeeper will refuse it. Right-click the app in Finder and pick Open to override, or run xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Emulsion.app once.
